Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of PlayaOS, operated by Feeling Mindful Labs LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Definitions

  • Company: Feeling Mindful Labs LLC.
  • Service: PlayaOS, operated by Feeling Mindful Labs LLC — the website, the camp portals, the API, and the connectors.
  • Camp: an organisation using the Service to run its membership and operations.
  • You: a person using the Service, whether as a camp organiser or a member.

Your account

You need an account to use most of the Service. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current — camps rely on it for logistics and safety.

Cost

The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid plans we will say so clearly before any charge applies, and you will never be billed without agreeing first. Camps may collect dues from their members through the Service; those are the camp's charges, not ours, and any refund is a matter between you and your camp.

Camps and their data

Each camp controls its own roster and decides what to ask its members. We provide the software. Disputes about membership, dues, or camp decisions are between you and your camp — we do not arbitrate them. How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or use the Service to harm, harass, or impersonate anyone;
  • access data belonging to a camp you are not a member of, or attempt to defeat access controls;
  • disrupt the Service — no scraping at volume, denial-of-service, or circumventing rate limits;
  • upload malware, or content you have no right to share;
  • use another member's personal information for anything other than running your camp.

API, SDKs, and connectors

We publish an API, client SDKs, an embed SDK, and a Model Context Protocol server so you can build on the Service — that is deliberate and encouraged. Use of them is subject to these Terms, any documented rate limits, and the same acceptable-use rules above. API keys and access tokens are credentials: keep them secret, and do not embed them where others can extract them.

If you connect an AI assistant, you are responsible for what you ask it to do with your camp's data, and the assistant provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to what it receives. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into the Service. You grant us the licence we need to host, store, and display it in order to operate the Service for you and your camp — nothing more. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Availability

We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. If we plan to discontinue something camps depend on, we will give reasonable notice so rosters and records can be exported.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, or where we must for legal or security reasons. We will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. PlayaOS helps camps organise; it is not a safety system, and you should not rely on it as one — in particular, not in an emergency.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Feeling Mindful Labs LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will give at least 30 days' notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the change.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction.
